Castle in time is an independent orchestra that Matan Daskal, Shalev Ne’eman, and Tal Donner formed in 2015, by the need to hear and create for a large ensemble that contains classical and electronic instruments and performers. The incredible musicians, which are also close friends and family, started in their twenties (now thirties), became an integral part of the creation processes, creating an inseparable organism between the composition and the performers.
Its repertoire is wide and moves across pop, noise, African rhythms, contemporary music, movement influences, and more. Nowadays experimenting with live composition languages such as “Soundpainting” and “Conduction”.
The orchestra is a modular group of extraordinary 24 instrumentalists containing woodwinds, brass, strings, electric guitars, bass guitar, drum set, percussions, synthesizers, harp, singers working with analog effects, computer player, and a conductor.
The orchestra has been broadcasted on main radio stations and performed in numerous festivals in Israel, among them Israel Festival, Mekudeshet Festival, The Jazz festival, and more.
